This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 03, 2008:
I just sent an email. To my boss at the local tv station. Saying thanks for taking me on, teaching me what he knows about video,sound,graphics... I deeply appreciate it.
Just before then, I emailed my pregnant girlfriend in Oslo. We email daily. She is maybe the person I talk the most to, apart from my man and my daughter.
Before her, I spoke to a fellow mother whilst delivering my daughter in kindergarten.
She seems very nice. Being a newcomer here, I´m always on the hunt for a good connection! A woman needs girlfriends! At least this woman sure does.
Before kindergarten, it was Lava and me. She was singing "we will we will rock you!"
Which she must have picked up in kindergarten yesterday.
So I put Queen on in the stereo in the bathroom while she got dressed etc,
God, I enjoy showing her good music!!
Or, sharing my view of what is good music, I guess is the correct phrasing here...! :-)
Yes. I also spoke a few words with my beloved before he rushed out the door to catch the ferry to work.
I´m off today. FInished editing a tv programme yesterday. It will be on the screen tomorrow, and stay there for a few days. (It´s a very special local station).
Very excited to hear what people think of it. I love it, myself!
And today, I shall speak to no one for a few hours now. Feels good.

I'm enjoying all these glimpses into the quotidian shenanikins of Gaiafolk from todays question…thanx for sharing….didn't know you edited teevee….Tam used to do this..I know it to be a creative endeavour….more than folk realise i think
Warmly, Jon x
hej du skønne,
congrats on a job well done, it's such a great feeling, isn't it? :)
I wish I could tune in your local station for a look see.. tv2 fyn is right around the corner from where I live, guess I could go down, bang on a few doors & alert them to the fact that this really cool chick on fanø just did a great job that needs to be aired on this lil island too ;-)
Thanks for comments.. :) Editing is a creative endeavour, yes, I feel a bit like God!!
(I imagine); deciding what`s in and not, and the connecting between the elements.. FUN!
:o)
One can have a look at the station at tv-fano.dk. (They are updating the pages these days, but normally one can view quite a few of the programmes there).
It is a special channel, driven mostly by volunteers. One is allowed to make mistakes, and laugh and learn…I love being part of it.
Thanks, Tara, for the idea of tv2 fyn! Hahaha…I guess I could do some isle-hopping
(as we call it in Norwegian) and share of my bountiful talents..! :)
Jon, Tara, have a splendid weekend! Lots of Love from Fanø!
