What would you like to affirm today?

Posted on Nov 20th, 2008 by Lene : Ichinen Lene
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 20, 2008:

"Every day I´m becoming more and more in tune with my higher Self
and with the law of cause and effect; Life`s way of allowing me to create my reality.
And
Every day I´m becoming better at
communicating with Love,
and my heart is opening,
its letting in light
chasing
the shadows of fear
away."

Liking much of your poetic justice, Kaltwasser, but wouldn't  “Facing ones shadow of fear,” be more sufficient, than “chasing” it away?

One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life:
that word is love.

Thanks for your comments, lovely to hear you, Leanne, Zephyr and Eli/Sophocles!
=)
Mum´s the word: I´m curious as to what you mean by poetic justice?
And I totally agree with you that we have to face our fear.
In this piece what I mean is that I am opening my heart, this act lets light in,
which replaces the darkness/ shadow…
So it is not so much aggressively chasing, as replacing, perhaps a better word…
And we open our hearts by the act of facing our fears.
Can we at all open up without confronting our inner frights?
Thanks for your thoughts. Always interesting to define and discuss ideas like this…

Lots of Love to all 4 of you beauties!  :-)

Thank you for your candor, Lene.
You did indeed hit the nail on the head by replacing the word, “chasing”.
My opinionated statement meant exactly this!
Because, when one is open to love, there are no shadows to chase and that fear is no longer in existence.  What only remains, is it's consistancy to/of 'love', which in it's own birth, is unconditional and unavailable to such darker sides/movement and sees nothing but love…. because it IS love, therefor, fear is non-existent in any shadow of a doubt.

“V” and love and light,

Rita
